Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father is Argentine, of Scottish-English descent. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six after which the family relocated into Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and she did not study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands and then Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. She quit the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
