Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd day of July in 1971. Alison Krauss and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Her birth date was the 23rd of July 1971. Her age was just teen when she made her debut in the music world and was a winner of local contests at the age of 10 old, and recorded her debut album at 14 years. The year 1985 saw her signing to Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. She was invited to join the band with whom she performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album in the band in 1989.
