Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American following her win on American Idol's first season. It was not just an enormous success, but it earned the singer a contract to record numerous albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. In the years since, she's made several studio albums, three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely fell short of the top spot. She's one of the biggest artists that have come out of American Idol. She started to explore music and themes when her popularity increased. The uniqueness of her voice and singing talent earned her praise from critics and a number of prestigious awards. In particular, she has received the Grammy Award a record three times. The music industry isn't the only thing she does. She has also appeared in TV and movies. She also co-wrote the children's storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with a number of charities.
