Mena Alexandera Suvari is an American model, actress and fashion designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. Soon after her first job as a model she soon moved into acting, after starring in guest roles on 1990's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in the film industry in 1997's dramatic film Nowhere. The actress made her way to leading roles after her performances on American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which brought an international audience. After that, she starred as a co-star in Loser (2000) alongside her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and was later the main role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). The film also featured her in the independent 2002 drama Spun as well as the 2004 action film Trauma. She also appeared on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award 2005, as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008, she was seen in various films including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many blog and fashion publications as well as Vogue. Suvari is the official Lancome model and appears on the advertisements printed for Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has been a supporter and advocate on behalf of African Medical and Research Foundation which is an established foundation that assists in the relief of Africa. The organization is also active in matters of empowerment for women and collaborates with various organizations to help raise awareness about breast cancer as well as an End Violence Against Women Campaign. Her most famous work is her work in television series including Dark Angel Heroes the Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper or Rookie Blue. She's modeled for high-profile companies such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada, and Olympics. Missy was a part of the film series Stick It Backcountry, Something Red, and Wide Awake.
