Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta starting with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. At an early age his father became obsessed by acting. While a student of Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, when he joined the Air force in Biloxi, he was seen together with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. The couple divorced in 1957. the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was a part of the Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio after the family relocated from Atlanta to Georgia's Decatur in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television that was aimed at children, called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture they self-financed. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for 6 years. In 1965, they welcomed two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
