Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than twenty years. She is most well-known for her role as a character in House on Fox. She grew up in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. She was very active in the club scene in the city of New York, and made enough noise to be recognized from the news media. In the meantime she became more conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. Her experiences as well as her celebrity to create and write the musical called Positive Me, and she also starred. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. When the show was over the show, she began appearing on the film and television industry, at first in small parts, but gradually establishing her place as an actor.
