Kari Wuhrer was born on the 28th of April the 28th of April, 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Wuhrer started her career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role is for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders as well as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three sisters and brothers. As a teenager, she sang in nightclubs and would sneak out of the house to sing. When she began studying acting at Wooster School, at 13 years old, she studied drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. She was born a Brookfield resident born in Brookfield Connecticut, on the 28th of April 1967. Her father is both an German American policeman as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari is the youngest of three siblings.
