Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner was born Lori Husman. She is an American journalist and television host who appears as a Shark in the ABC reality television program Shark Tank. Her interest in creating handmade jewelry when she was in college. She continued to design and sell them until she was struck by the idea of creating a plastic earrings organizer and then showing it to the women in public to gauge their reaction. In the end, she was able to patent her product and started selling it on several platforms both offline and online, continuing to add new products. Her portfolio is comprised of over 1000 successful products, 120 US patents as well as international. She is a sharp observer, an acute sense of business, and is able to instantly determine whether a product is going to succeed or fail. This results in a 90% success rate within her industry.
