Charissa Thompson

Thompson left FOX Sports in the year 2010 and did double duty as the host for Versus and Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL studio coverage as well as recorded web-based videos for the highly trafficked Yahoo platform, leading Yahoo Sports' presence at major occasions, such as the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. Her show was successful across both of these areas. This made her join ESPN on August 11, 2011. In June 2014, after several part-time jobs Thompson was hired as a permanent co-host to the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra".
